Agents in Production Webinar: From a Chatbot to a Tool You Can Rely On

Ask a large language model a question about your data, and you’ll probably get a confident answer. Ask it again, and you might get a different one. Sometimes, neither answer is correct.
That’s a problem if you’re building an AI agent other people need to use. How do you get dependable results from it, and what does it take to make it ready for production?
On 19 November 2026, join Pedro Silva, Principal Data Scientist at Jumping Rivers, for this free webinar.
From a Working Agent to Production
One way to make an agent more reliable is to keep the language model away from the arithmetic. Pedro will show how to build agents in R where the model decides which function to call and R does the calculations. The agent answers questions about your data with existing R functions, so the numbers come from R, not from the model.
Getting an agent to work in a demo is the easy part. Once other people start using it, new questions come up. How do you manage separate conversations for different users? How do you test an agent whose responses may vary between runs? How do you keep a record of its actions, and which safeguards can you rely on?
Pedro will work through each of these and show what it takes to turn a working prototype into a tool other people can depend on.
Who Should Attend?
The webinar is for data scientists, R developers and anyone looking at building and deploying AI agents.
It will be useful whether you’re trying out agents for the first time or have an application you want to open up to more users.
